Jen Beedie: Over the past few years I have had a number of health issues that changed my life. Because I am not a fan of conventional medicine I was forced to look for other more natural ways to help fuel my recovery. Food was something I never really thought about. I was an “eat what I want when I want” kind of person. I started learning that so many of these processed foods have been thought to be a cause in many autoimmune disorders which have been on a steady rise over the years. I used this knowledge as an excuse to cut out most of the processed/junk foods that I had previously consumed and look for healthy alternatives... With this blog I hope to share recipes that I try and create that serve as alternatives to the convenience foods that are out there.
